It was exactly 20 years ago on this very day — 2 Aug 2003 — that Pornophonique played their very first live show at Trebur Open Air in Hesse, Germany. The setlist was at a manageable size and contained only a handful of songs, including an instrumental intro, Britney’s „Hit me baby, one more time“, Whitesnake’s „The time is right for love“, The Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ „Otherside“ and Dusty Springfield’s „Son of a preacher man“. It took the two young men only 20 minutes to perform their set, and then they played Britney’s smash hit once more as an encore because they did not have any own songs yet.
